Founded in Melbourne in April 2024, Brighten began with a simple idea: to help people create calm, joy, and beauty in their everyday spaces through the power of scent. What started as a love for aromatherapy quickly turned into a deeper purpose, to craft candles that are not only luxurious, but clean, conscious, and made with intention.

I started Brighten because I truly believe in the emotional power of scent. From lavender’s calm to citrus’s energy, I’ve always felt that candles can transform not just rooms, but moods. I wanted to share that with others and offer something better than what I saw on the shelves: clean, beautiful candles that don’t compromise on quality or health.

Since day one, I’ve poured every candle with purpose, and shared them at markets across Melbourne. The most magical part? Watching someone’s eyes light up the moment they connect with their scent.

This is more than just wax and fragrance—it’s memory, meaning, and emotion in every jar.
